Alicia & Adam are from Warwick, RI and have been engaged for about 5 months. Here is why Alicia thinks they should win the NBC10 Free Wedding Giveaway:
“Well,I am not going to write all of the reasons why we should get married and why we deserve to win like all of the other contestents.I am going to tell you all of the reasons why we shouldnt.We are complete opposites in every way possible.I like to go to bed early,and he likes to stay up all night.He loves spicy foods and gross fish,raw and cooked…and I hate all of it.He is 6’6in tall, and I am only 5’6.I love to play keno and gamble,and he hates it.He likes nice fancy pretty cars that he can drive slow and look cool in, and I like my beat up car that I can go over curbs with and speed over bumps and not give it two thoughts.(needless to say I am not allowed to drive his car!)He can not talk for hours and just stay quite no matter where we go…and I can not shut up for more then two minutes at a time.He has big ears and mine are little baby ones.He loves a nice cold glass of beer, and beer makes me want to puck…I perfer wine or tequilla.(tequilla only if I am not fired up first,it can make me crazy.)I am the older woman, and he is just a baby!(we are only 4 years apart but he calls me a old lady)
We are quite opposite in many many ways, but we have one thing in common….We truely love each other and we can not see any other life then the one that we share together…All of the differences is what makes our life interesting and fun. We have a great time together everyday.He is my Best friend, and my lover. Our opposites make us laugh all the time with each other. I look forward to all the days that we can spend together…and our wedding day will be one of our fondest memories that we share together!!!If you do pick us as the winner of this competion,I promise that we will enjoy every moment of this wedding…And when we look into each others eyes,you will agree that all is where it should be in our hearts….Thank you for your time….“

As one of Alicia’s best friends(25 years), I would just like to say she really deserves this dream wedding. She and Adam are so happy and I thought I would never see her this way. She has raised her son for 12 years basically alone. She and Adam got through a deployment separation and are stronger then ever. Due to the financial strain of raising her son and trying to complete school she has no savings for her dream wedding, that she really deserves. Please give the most deserving person the greatest gift of committing her love in elegance.
