Tara & Michael are from Seekonk, MA and have been engaged since Christmas 1999.  Here is why Tara thinks they should win the NBC10 Free Wedding Giveaway:

“Just by reading our history should inspire you to make us your winning couple. Mike is a wonderful man. We had children very young most guys his age would have headed for the hills. He stuck it out. Through the good times and bad, through sickness and in health. We’ve been through it all. We know we van mike it for the duration. It would be nice to make it official.  When my son picks on a girl in his class I joke it may be love. He laughs, but look at us the boy that threw stones now throws kisses. We have put off our dream wedding for many reasons. The kids. We wanted them to have space to grow. A home with their own rooms a yard to play in. We saved some money and rather than have our wedding. We bought a home. We saved a little. I went to school. We saved again, times got tough and rather than take on two or three jobs we started our own business. We used the wedding money again to start MG Staffing Solutions. A medical staffing firm. We work day and night together. (Without killing each other) To make a better life for our family. The wedding can wait. We saved a little more. Mike will be going back to school next September. The wedding will wait yet again. I think we have been unselfish and responsible in our decisions. I also think we deserve to be married. To make it official. To say the vows we’ve been living for the last ten years.”
