Holly-Lyn and Solomon are from Somerset, MA and have been engaged since the summer of 2008. Here is why Holly-Lyn thinks they should win the NBC10 Free Wedding Giveaway:

“We think that we deserve a free wedding from NBC10 for a few reasons.
#1 - The good times. Sami and I wonderful people (him more so than me). We have an awesome relationship, we’ve grown up together, we’ve learned a lot about and from each other. Sami can be so sweet (even tho he won’t admit it) even if I’m being “crazy” (I never know what he’s talking about, I’m not crazy).
#2 - The bad times. Besides arguments, there have been some disagreements amongst Sami and my family that have gotten nasty at times (check your ProJo archives), but regardless, Sami puts that aside and loves me a lot. Same with his family, they understand you can’t choose your relatives and they support us no matter what we do.
#3 - The broke times. I am a teacher. ‘Nuff said? I also have a second job at the local gym and a third job as a yearbook and sometime wedding photographer (http://dayzchic9.photoshop.com). My love, Sami, just switched jobs (he’s an engineer) and spent all summer training for this new job. I’m not gonna lie, we love going out to eat and having fun, but lately times are tough and we need to postpone the “big day” till 2010 to fatten the checkbook… and that’s far off!
#4 - The times to come. We are solid, Sami and I. There is no doubt in my mind that him I will be together for a LONG time. I am so excited to know that I get to wake up with him and go to sleep with him and cut the grass with him and clean the bathrooms with him… ok ok. Anyways, the prospect of being with Sami forever and having kids with him makes me unbelievably happy.
*BONUS* - What can we do for you??? We both grew up in Somerset since we were infants. We have a large number of family and friends who are very supportive of us. Your ratings will go no where but up if you marry us. Promise.

Sami and I are just young adults who are working hard and trying to survive in these crazy times. We are two people with huge hearts who want nothing but the best for each other and those around us. A wedding from NBC10 and the sponsors would be incredible and allow us to begin a new (loooong) chapter in our epic story. “
