Katherine & Mathew are from Attleboro, MA and have been engaged since June 7, 2007.  Here is why Katherine thinks they should win the NBC10 Free Wedding Giveaway:

“Mat and I had known of each other for years, we both grew up in the same small town of Rehoboth, MA. I always knew him as the really big scary boy and he knew me a the quiet bookworm.  When I was in high school I always got behind this red GMC pick up that had dual straight pipes out the back, and me being in my small Mercury car I was level witht he exhaust pipes. I also had to roll up my windows because of the smell and turn off my radio because I could hear it over the exhaust. Well it didn’t matter if I left 5 minutes later I would be behind the truck if I left early there would be the truck in front of me. Fast forward 3 years later, I meet Mat, during a conversation he brought up how he missed is old red GMC pick up. I said did it happen to have dual straight pipes, he smiled and said yea why? My response was you’re the asshole that I had to follow into school! We both laughed and became good friends after that. We never thought that we would be a couple we always said we are too good of friends. There is a good laugh, here we are getting ready to be married.”
