Kari & David are from Charlestown, RI and have been engaged since September 2, 2008.  Here is why Kari thinks they should win the NBC10 Free Wedding Giveaway:

“I feel that we should win a wedding because we never do anything nice for each other. We always help others and in doing so never have money. Last year my sister and her two kids were homeless and we took them in and gave them a roof over there heads. It wasn’t going to be permenant, it was just until she got on her feet. Well we went our seperate ways and now she has found herself in the same situation but this time I have her youngest daughter living with us. It is really hard getting by. Our orginal date to get married was in 2011 so that maybe would could save enough money to have a nice wedding. As usual things never seem to happen the way it sounds in fairy tale books, my car is now having problems. Dreams like this don’t generally happen to people like us it always seems to be people who have money that win. If we won that would be amazing and I would be able to feel the way I deserve…Like a PRINCESS.  Thank You”
