Lauren & Paul are from Pawtucket, RI and have been engaged since October 17, 2007.  Here’s why Paul thinks they should win the NBC10 Free Wedding Giveaway:

“Lauren is an absolutely amazing woman. She has one of the largest hearts I know, and always gives everything she can to what she does. She is absolutely brilliant, and did amazingly well in her undergraduate and graduate studies - she has a Master’s Degree in Forensic Sciences. She is hard-working, and excels at anything she attempts. And of course, she is stunningly beautiful. For these reasons and more, she really deserves a beautiful wedding. And although I want to give her the most amazing ceremony possible, we simply do not have the financial resources available to pay for a “big wedding.”
We have always tried to do our best to make the most out of our lives. Both of us earned graduate degrees in our fields, along with the loans to pay for the schooling. I am still in training for my profession, currently in the second year of a Clinical Pharmacy Fellowship after 4 years of undergrad and 4 years of pharmacy school. At the current moment, we are trying to save for a wedding, a house, pay off our loans, and start rewarding both personal and professional lives.
There is another major element to this contest that really speaks to us. The fact that the great viewers of NBC 10 are responsible for selecting the items for the wedding excites us. In our initial efforts to plan our marriage, we have found that we can never narrow down our choices and we can never make up our minds! A contest like this would allow us to worry less about what the wedding will look like and give us more time to focus on enjoying our future together.
I appreciate the opportunities presented in this contest that will allow me to give Lauren a memorable wedding she truly deserves.”
