Sitha & Douachee are from Cranston, RI and have been engaged since he graduated from high school.  Here is why Sitha thinks they should win the NBC10 Free Wedding Giveaway:

“I feel we should we win the wedding because we’re a young fun loving couple that overcame a lot of obstacles. He came from a big family of 12 childrens and came from a small family of 3 kids. I didn’t have to fight as hard for the bathroom while he did. Both our parents didn’t approve of the relationship at first because he is hmong and I am cambodian but eventually they came to realize how much we loved each other.

We got an apartment together after we both finished college. Then life happened and we had a baby last december and bought a house. Our plans of getting married just got put on the back burner. We just did things backwards, got pregnant, bought a house and now finally trying to save for a wedding.

I was ok with just signing the papers and getting married by the Justice of Peace but he wanted to have a real wedding with friends and family. He wanted to give me my dream wedding. So, I’m doing this for him.“
