Sarah & Lawrence are from Riverside, RI. Sarah explains why she thinks they should be the winning couple: Once upon a time there was a young couple from the magical land of Rhode Island. Larry , a tall noble prince from the village of Cranston and Sarah, a poor simple girl from the neighboring village of Warwick came together in a most peculiar way. Sarah was tending to her many daily chores in the fields with the flock when suddenly Larry the noble prince spotted her. He calmed his beating heart approached her and their eyes met and…........ Ok, ok , so maybe it wasnt quite like that…maybe i dont have some unbelievably romantic breathtaking story to tell you. There was no lightning striking and thunder crashing heartpounding rescue so to speak. What i can tell you is that we are both working class Rhode Island born and bread people that (watch channel 10 on a regular basis
)work hard and just try to be good people and hope that our lives make a difference to someone else. I am a mobile xray technologist that drives from Tiverton to Cumberland and back a few times, to care for the elderly by bringing hospital care to their bedside. Larry has worked incredibly hard his whole life. He is a part time Mail Carrier and also does construction. And let me tell you Nor rain, sleet, snow, or dark of night will keep him from doing his job, or for that matter, taking care of those he loves. We are just regular people, from regular families who met overcame alot of challenges, fell in love and finally ended up together. There have been people routing for us for years! So now we want to have this wedding, this celebration of us,our lives and the people responsible for keeping us alive. And to be perfectly honest, no one is quite sure where the money is coming from for this wedding, we all just kinda have faith that it will happen. If it werent for the money situation we wouldve gotten married yesterday. We have to wait another year to make it happen.Which is ok because in my heart i am married to him already. So anyways to wrap this up, Thats all folks!!! This is my story, our life so far. I really hope to hear from you soon. Actually your station has already been a part of my life.As long as i can remember i laid in bed on snowy mornings that A. I wished I lived in Foster-Gloucester or B. To hear those words “ WARWICK PUBLIC SCHOOLS, CLASSES CANCELLED”. Also when I was 14 I auditioned for the Saturday morning Kidswatch10 reporter show. I made it to the final cut and Then didnt get the part becuase i looked too much older than the others on camera…I was crushed! Please dont do that to me again
. I decided to forgive you for turning me down and when the company i worked for when i was 19 told me i would be delivering your printing supplies and needs i gladly accepted. So we have a history together , bet ya didnt know that.
I would be incredibly honored if i won such a gift. And i know that Larry and I would truly appreciate it, as well as our financially challenged families. we never dreamed we could get such a beautiful place to have our wedding so thanks alot for this oppurtunity . take care and thanks for all your time. sarah and larry
