Angela & Matt are from Woonsocket, RI.  Angela describes the infamous “Will You Marry Me” moment that took place on August 22, 2007: Every year my family and I go up to Maine and stay in the same cabin on Mooselookmeguntic lake every year. This year Matt was able to come too and he brought his boat. One late afternoon Matt asked me if I wanted to go out on the boat. I said sure and my Dad took pictures of us before we left which wasn’t too odd (he takes a lot of photos on vacation). We went out on the boat and as the sun was setting behind the mountains he came over to me, got down on one knee and (shakingly) asked me if I would make “him the happiest man alive by marrying him”. I of course said yes. When we got back to the cabin my parents already knew (Matt had asked permission the week before) and I realized why so many pictures were taken before we left.
