Julie & Jeremy are both from West Warwick, RI.  Julie explains how they met: Well, actually we met in junior high school. Jeremy was a year ahead of me but we never really talked, even though by the end of high school we had most of the same friends. I even remember a few times when he picked me up to go to a friend’s house for the night. He was always kind of quiet around me. When we first staring dating, almost ten years after he graduated, he told me he had a crush on me way back then. I thought it was one of the sweetest things I had ever heard. After high school we both ended up going to school out of state and didn’t run into each other again until January 2006. On New Year’s day of that year some of my friends from college invited me to go to the penguin plunge in Jamestown, RI. Wouldn’t you know it a bunch of my old friends from high school were also there and who did they have with them….yup, you guessed it Jeremy. We were probably two out of three, from our group, who were too chicken to go in the water that day. You could say we made a splash anyway. This year Jeremy wanted us to take the plunge, as in dive into the freezing cold water. I told him the only way he was getting me in that water was if he put a ring on my finger. Needless to say we will be diving in on January 1st, 2008.
