Amanda & Christopher are both from Wood River Junction, RI.  Christopher explains how he met Amanda in January, 2004: Amanda and I met in our second semester class at Rhode Island College. I walked into Western Literature, and there she was sitting across the room in her big wool coat talking to her friends. I sat down across the room and became hypnotized by her smile, and confidence. We both kept looking at each other throughout the class time, both being flirty and quite new and the whole college life. The next day I came to class sat in the back of the room and waited for her to come. I remember reaching down and grabbing a book out of my bag and looking up and seeing her sit right next to me. I was soooooo nervous, not sure really what to say or do, I waited for the opportune moment to say something. Throughout the next couple of weeks we got to know each other, if we weren’t talking in class we were on the phone for hours talking. It took me 3 months to get up the nerve to ask her out, and on March 13 we went on our first date, to dinner and the movies. I remember that day vividly because as we walked out of the movie theater it started to snow and I turned to her and we had our first kiss.
