Holly & Michael are from Warwick, RI.  Michael tells the story on how he proposed to Holly on February 25, 2005: I play in a local cover band so I wanted to make it so all of our friends and family would be there. I kept announcing that we ( the band ) would be holding a contest in between the second and third set. That night we were playing at The Rocky Point Pub in Warwick. I knew the bartender rather well from previous gigs so I let him in on to what I was planning to do that night. When the time came around for the contest I needed and chose three volunteers, Holly being one of them. I set up a chair in front of the stage and had each contestant sit and answer one question. If they got the answer right they would win a complimentary shot provided by the band. The bartender who was in on it set up the tray for me. The first two girls I asked such easy questions to that anyone could have answered but they instructed earlier to answer wrong. The last and most important question was directed to Holly. “Holly Costa, you have the toughest question of the night… Will you marry me?” She of course said yes and then the next words out of her mouth reassured me that I was making the right choice. She said” do I still win the shot?” LOL!!
